foto: hematomas pos lipoaspiracaoA lipoaspiração é um tipo de cirurgia para reduzir o volume de gordura localizada, devendo ser realizada por um médico especialista, neste caso, um cirurgião plástico.

No pós-operatório, podem ocorrer edemas e manchas na pele, chamadas equimoses (extravasamento de sangue na região logo abaixo da pele).

Por este motivo, os médicos orientam realizar drenagem linfática e aplicar ultrassom a partir de sete dias, para regredir mais rapidamente o inchaço e o endurecimento dessas áreas*.

Deve-se utilizar cinta elástica desde o primeiro dia após a cirurgia até o segundo mês, sempre seguindo as orientações de seu médico.

Com o decorrer dos meses, tendo-se realizado as devidas drenagens linfáticas e os exercícios orientados para modelagem, vai-se gradativamente atingindo o resultado definitivo. Nunca se deve considerar como definitivo qualquer resultado, antes de 6 a 9 meses do pós-operatório**.
